Statens vegvesen [the Norwegian Public Roads Administration] wants to enter into framework agreements for consultancy services in the discipline of geomatics. Geomatics includes GIS, geodata, geodesy and NVDB and is an important specialist area for the contracting authority. There is a need for a number of services such as measuring, calculation, systematising and storing, management, analysis and presentation of such data as well as system development of solutions. This can be data collection with sensors and machine learning.
The contract will cover the need for competence that the client does not have available in their own agency at a given point in time or where there is an independent need for external task solving. The contract can also be used if extra capacity is needed.
