The contract will cover all employees in Ringerike Municipality. The municipality has (+/-50) 2300 employees split between (+/-50) 1700 man-labour years. These figures continually change. Ringerike Municipality's overall goal for health, safety and environment work (HSE) is as follows:

'Ringerike Municipality will be a safe, secure, developing, health-promoting, and inclusive workplace. Ringerike Municipality will contribute to minimising negative effects on the environment.'
The municipality's strategy for achieving this goal is that:
— the HSE work is anchored in the chief municipal executive's management group;
— managers and safety delegates practice systematic HSE work;
— the municipality practices involvement and co-determination;
— the organisation has the required HSE competence;
— employees and managers see to and comply with the legislation and internal HSE requirements in their daily work.
The framework agreement will be valid for 3 years from when it is signed. The contracting authority has the option to extend the contract for a further 1 + 1 year.
The value of the framework agreement, based on a duration of 5 years, is estimated to be between NOK 8 500 000 and NOK 11 500 000 excluding VAT. This calculation is based on the consumption in previous years. The figures are only a guideline and the contracting authority is not obliged to procure a specific number of services.
