Framework Agreement for a Veterinary Duty Scheme for Tromsø and Karlsøy Municipalities 2020

Tromsø kommune

The Municipality has, through the Veterinary Surgeon and Other Animal Health Personnel Act from 15 June 2001 No 75, a legal responsibility to organise a clinical veterinary duty scheme outside ordinary working hours.
Tromsø and Karlsøy Municipalities would like to enter into a framework agreement for a veterinary duty scheme for large and small animals.
The veterinary duty scheme is divided into individual subcontracts and it is possible to submit tenders for one or more of these subcontracts. Tromsø Municipality will sign a contract with one tenderer per subcontract. Several tenderers can cooperate on a tender for a subcontract.
The duty remuneration for large animals will be 100 %, for small animals the remuneration is 80 % in accordance with the current valid hourly rates set by the Directorate of Agriculture.
