A large part of OUS ’buildings are characterised by excessive wear and deficient maintenance over many years. The condition of the buildings, technical installations and other infrastructure varies, but is generally poor. There is a large need for replacement and upgrades.
The purpose of the tender contest is to enter into framework agreements with up to five tenderers for electrical installation works with associated materials, primarily for construction and building projects, renovation projects and maintenance projects at all of the hospital's locations.
This contract largely covers the building component table's main sections 4 and 5 and relevant parts of main section 7.
The maximum value for all contracts that the contracting authority anticipates entering into during the framework agreement period (including any options) is NOK 400 million including VAT. The value is estimated based on consumption in the existing framework agreement. Call-offs on the framework agreement are made subject to the allocation of funds.

Examples of projects can be:

— The delivery of complete electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage installations related to reconstruction or renovation of areas related to OUS The systems can also include systems that are included in the Norwegian Electrotechnical Committee's (NEK) Standards; NEK 400 -7-710 Medical areas and NEK400-5-56 Emergency power supply systems. For these systems, the contractor must expect work in medical group 2 rooms with associated testing, verification and documentation requirements. The contractor must have the necessary expertise and equipment for such execution and testing,

— It may also be relevant for the contractor to undertake the job as a main contractor and thus transferred to e.g. construction, air treatment and piping contracts. Projects where these are most relevant apply to larger electrical installation works where other participants to a small degree are included and contributing. This may typically include the replacement of main distributions, sub-distributions, etc. in connection with upgrading and replacement of electrical technical systems.
