The work includes the construction of an oval roundabout, pedestrian and bicycle paths with traffic lights along E39 the central areas of Knarvik, a new culvert for pedestrian/bicycle paths, 450 m new European road, and adaptations to existing side roads. A new water and sewage system shall also be constructed for Alver municipality in the construction area, the casting of a stream inlet in Lonebekken and establishing a system for handling floodwater from Lonebekken in a section through the planning area. Moreover, the cabling agencies shall reorganise parts of their facilities affected by the project. The soil drilling indicates.
A varying depth in rock; the masses must be locally replaced down to approx. 9 m. Cf. the geo-technical report named R-002. The engineering designed is based on models. The drafts are supplemented.
