RVTS Vest offers regular or customised training programs, counselling in individual cases, guidance in groups, meeting places for subject exchange, as well as various online resources within the thematic areas.
RVTS Vest is organised as an entity in the Division for psychiatric health care, Haukeland Hospital.
RVTS Vest has developed a 2-day course on culture-sensitive suicide prevention for professionals who work with suicidal refugees and asylum seekers. The course has been evaluated as good and it has a high utilitarian value. However, there can be language barriers between professionals and suicidal users with an ethnic minority background, which lead to the suicidal person not receiving enough help.

The tool must contribute to supporting professionals in mapping conversations with suicidal persons.
