Troms og Finnmark county wants to sign a contract for construction of a new foot and cycle path along County Road 86 from Silsand to the sports hall in Islandsboten.

See the attached tender documentation and specifications for more information.

In addition to the construction of a new foot and cycle path, the project will also include:

— new street lighting and conduit installation,

— establishment of culverts in multiple different dimensions,

— establishment of retaining walls made of pre-fabricated concrete elements,

— upgrading of bus stops,

— moving/demolition of poles and fences, flagpoles, garbage, postbox stands including two garages (which will be demolished),

— adaptation of the existing access roads/exits as well as establishment of new access roads and exits,

— establishment of street lighting and conduits/conduit manholes etc.

— alteration of the existing and establishment of new water pipelines for Senja municipality on parts of the section. (cf. Location VA1 in chapter D1 description),

— noise reduction measures for four different detached houses (including establishment of screens) (cf. Location S1 in chapter D1 description),

— new building up of effected parts of County Road 86 i.e. profile No 0 — 350, approx. km 4 140 — 3 790. (in connection with the establishment of culverts and sub drains),

— establishment of a prefabricated culvert (W x H x L: 4.5 m x 3.2 m x length 16 m) as well as a large sub drain (Ø 2 000 mm) at Islandsbotn.

Culverts established to safeguard plan-free crossing of County Road 86 to FK Senja's sports facility.
