County Road 440. Upgrading of the Byhaug Tunnel

The northern exit of the Byhaug Tunnel shall be altered by 100 metres, of which 30 metres shall be considered as work for a new tunnel. From the tunnel portal at the north side an approximately 155 metres portal over the Eiganes Tunnel shall be constructed and led to the west side of the Eiganes Tunnel. The works include considerable terrain works, especially on the north side, as well as electrical installation works and trench works in the current tunnel. The Byhaug Tunnel is currently a one-way tunnel with a length of approx. 630 m. The Tunnel shall be upgraded in such a way that it is designed for an expected AADT (2035) of 13000.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
The tenderer must be a legally established company or a group of tenderers that must be a legally established company. See the tender documentation for detailed information.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
1) Tenderers must have good economic and financial capacity to complete the contract;
2) Tenderers must have an equity ratio of at least 10 %;
3) Average annual turnover for the last 3 years must as a minimum be equivalent to the annual turnover of the contract. Documentation requirement: Company Registration Certificate from a Register of Business Enterprises Foreign tenderers can submit an equivalent certificate in accordance with the legislation in the tenderer's country of establishment.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Tenderers shall have sufficient experience with assignments of a corresponding nature and degree of difficulty. The main areas include: Road construction works, structures, tunnel works, replacement and upgrading of electrical installations and control, regulation and monitoring system. NPRA and other builders' experiences with the tenderer will be appraised HSE: the tenderer shall have a system for proactive compliance of safety, health and work environment. The tenderer and their central contractual partners should have an average H1 value lower than 15 for the last 3 years.
