Customs, c/o the Directorate of Norwegian Customs, invites tenderers to a restricted tender contest for the procurement of a communication system (remote network WAN), dark fibre and Internet) with associated services for all of customs.
The aim is to enter into a contract with one total supplier.
The contract will cover customs' need for a remote network between customs' locations and with collaboration partners. This also includes unmanned sensor locations, mobile units and internet connections. In addition to the actual remote network, dark fibre must also be delivered on some stretches. The remote network must be provided as a service that includes operation and maintenance.

The contract for the delivery of a communication system for customs will be valid from when it is signed for an initial period of 3 years. The contract will then automatically be extended for one year at a time until it is terminated. The maximum duration of the contract can be up to 8 years.

Tenderers must be a legally established company, i.e., registered in a company register, professional register or a trade register in the country where the tenderer is established.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Sufficient economic and financial standing to fulfil the contract is required.
Tenderers must have good credit worthiness without a requirement for security.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
1) Tenderers must have sufficient capacity and resources to implement the contract, including being able to deliver to locations throughout Norway, as well as some locations in Sweden and Finland;
2) Tenderers must have relevant experience from a minimum of 2 equivalent deliveries in the last 5 years. This involves:
— customers with a large geographical spread,
— extensive number of delivery locations,
— a complex technical system.
