Contract for a New Otta School 1-7 with a Multi-use Hall

Sel kommune

Sel Municipality will construct a new school in Otta for first-seventh years. The school will have a capacity of 320 pupils and approx. 60 employees. The project also includes a new sports hall for gym premises for Otta school, first-seventh years and Otta secondary school, which will be located next to the existing Otta Hall. The hall's area is estimated to be between 2 000 and 3 500 m. The project also includes the redevelopment of ‘Elvebakken Residential and Activity Centre’ and Otta community hall. Development of the school's outside area and alterations to the infrastructure for the construction of the school and hall are included in the work and are planned for phase 1 of the project. Development of a new foot and cycle path, approx. 900 m long along the existing Skansenveg with longitudinal bus stop areas for pupils at the schools in the area.
