In 2020, NKVTS will conduct a comprehensive survey on violence and abuse in the Norwegian population. Based on extracts from Folkeregisteret [the National Register] will have a need to implement telephone interviews with 6 000 persons in the age range 18-74. We estimate the average interview will take 20 minutes, with shorter time for those who have not experienced violence and somewhat longer time for those who have, based on the follow-up questions about the events. Interview will have a CATI format.
The assignment must be implemented by 1 July 2021 at the latest.
The scope of the delivery is estimated to be NOK 4.5 million-NOK 4.8 million, subject to financing. The calculated contract value is a non binding estimated based on previous figures. The actual value may be higher or lower than the stated estimate.

NKVTS is a research centre that develops and spreads knowledge about violence and traumatic stress. The objective is to contribute to prevention and reduce the health and social consequences resulting from violence and traumatic events. The centre carries out research on an international level. NKVTS collaborates with regional resources in the violence and trauma field, as well as relevant clinical environments, research institutions and technical authorities, national and international. NKVTS does not carry out clinical activity, but the knowledge produced at the centre will benefit the field of practice in a broad manner.
