The contracting authority requests tenders for the procurement of centrifuges for the Ex vivo facility at Haukeland University Hospital. The Ex vivo laboratory is a clean room for cultivation of cells for use in stem-cell therapy. A high focus is on the facility and equipment being placed where it is clean and few particles are emitted, cf. the GMP (Good manufacturing practices) requirements.
Tenders are requested for the following:
Two centrifuges with a max. width x depth of 800 mm x 860 mm, including relevant rotors and adapters for processing of blood and blood products (bags and tubes) for use in clean rooms. The offered equipment must be suitable for use in GMP clean rooms.
Three table centrifuges of various sizes and with the ability to process volumes given in the requirement specifications, including relevant adapters for processing products and samples.
Option for the procurement of 2 centrifuges and 3 table centrifuges, a service agreement and training of personnel.

The offered equipment must be suitable for use in GMP clean rooms. A high capacity blood bag centrifuge is not required as a maximum 4 blood bags are to be centrifuged at a time. Due to this and limited space, it is highly desirable that the centrifuge take as little space as possible.
