Stavanger Cathedral is celebrating its 900 year jubilee in 2025. The cathedral will have a new choir organ for the jubilee, which will replace the current instrument. The cathedral is automatically listed in accordance with the Cultural Memorial Act, and all measures must be approved by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage and by Stavanger Diocese.
The choir organ must be an all-round instrument that can be used to accompany the choir and congregation and also to make an acoustical contrast to the church's baroque inspired main organ.

Estimert totalverdi: 3 000 000 NOK 💰
Kort beskrivelse:
The contract has an estimated annual value of NOK 3 million excluding VAT.
The contract will include engineering design services for, and the construction and assembly of a fixed organ. The contract will be a turnkey contract with a solution proposal, where the organ builder, as the turnkey contractor, will deliver an instrument that fulfils the contracting authority's function requirements, and which is suitable for the location, in accordance with the contracting authority and the Directorate of Cultural Heritage's requirements and guidelines. The organ must be handed over to the contracting authority ready intoned by autumn 2024 at the latest.
