Nærings- og fiskeridepartementet (the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries) wants to enter into a contract for ongoing assistance over a period for follow-up of the Brønnøysund Register's project for a new register platform (BRsys). The Ministry sees a need for assistance to ensure sufficient understanding in the Ministry of the project and quality in the Ministry's follow-up and management of the project in line with the project's revised central management documents.
The assignment initially runs for 2 years, the client has the option to extend the contract for up to 2 years, 1 year at a time. The Ministry estimates an hourly need for assistance of approximately 300 hours in the first year, and about 200 hours per year in subsequent years. The anticipated value of the procurement is between NOK 1 million to NOK 2 million excluding VAT in the period 2021-2024. This is an estimate and is non binding for the contracting authority.

The Ministry sees a need for assistance to ensure sufficient understanding in the Ministry of the project and quality in the Ministry's follow-up and management of the project in line with the project's revised central management documents. The great uncertainty connected to the project has lead to the project being reduced in scope and postponed in time. Based on the reduction in the scope of the project, the Brønnøysund Register has been tasked with preparation of preparing a revised central management document (SSD). Assistance in reviewing of revised SSD will be included in the first part of the assistance.
