The main purpose of the procurement is to establish an activity offer for persons with dementia. The procurement will be an activity offer facilitated on a farm. The users will be given the opportunity of participating in a social environment, in rural surroundings, and with proximity to daily tasks at the farm. The activities are seasonal tasks related to animals and plants, and will be facilitated for the users’ function level and will contribute to self-mastering for the participants.

The objective of the procurement will be to offer activities and good experiences that promote mastering and provide increased life quality. Many get joy from carrying out simple work tasks. The activities should be varied, inside and outside, and be related to the time of year. Examples of activities that are obviously relevant are care of animals, work in the kitchen, walking, reading aloud from newspapers/books baking, pickling, carpentry, singing and games, and otherwise opportunities that the season and outdoor area provide.
