The estimated volume is approx. 700 employee PCs, 500 monitors, 2 800 student PCs, and various Skype equipment a year. Nordland County emphasizes that this is only an estimate, based on previous consumption.
The contract will be valid for 4 years. The contracting authority will have the right to terminate the contract with 3 months notice.
Sub-tenders cannot be submitted for this delivery. This means that it is not possible to submit a tender for only student PCs and not employee PCs with additional equipment, and vice versa.
Nordland County has an extensive activity with responsibility for, amongst other things, 16 sixth form colleges. See www.nfk.no for further information on Nordland County. Nordland County has approx. 3 200 employees and many locations spread throughout the county. Delivery and guarantee services are important, and must be offered at all locations.

An important part of this contract is the delivery of student PCs for our 16 sixth form colleges:
Andøy, Aust-Lofoten, Bodø, Bodin, Brønnøysund, Fauske, Hadsel, Knut Hamsun, Meløy, Mosjøen, Narvik, Polarsirkelen, Saltdal, Sandnessjøen, Sortland and Vest-Lofoten sixth form colleges.
The students at sixth form colleges in Nordland County are obliged to use laptop computers. For further information go to: https://www.nfk.no/tjenester/utdanning/utdanning-i-skole/pc-i-skole.
The total number of student places in the school year 2019-2020 was 9 401, but a total of 8 194 students were admitted.
The procurement is primarily for students in the first year of the sixth form college and the volume is estimated to 2 800 computers in 2020. The student prognoses for the next 3 years suggest a procurement of:
— approx. 2 800 computers in the year 2021,
— approx. 2 700 computers in the year 2022,
— approx. 2 900 computers in the year 2023.
There can be changes in the annual structure of the admissions process. Nordland County cannot, therefore, guarantee the annual scope. Compensation will not be given if the estimated volume is not achieved.
The student PC part of the contract comprises new procurement and supplements of student PCs for sixth form education in the contract period.
The product overview for employee PCs/equipment states the model specifications that will meet large parts of the employees' needs. There will be a need for procurements that are not covered by standard models so the contracting authority must be offered other available PCs and equipment at the same mark-up as the rest of the contract. The tenderer will be expected to offer a broad range of PC models and brands, as well as additional equipment.
