The Norwegian Defence and Research Establishment (FFI), hereafter called the contracting authority, would like to enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer for carpentry services.
The framework agreement will cover the contracting authority's need for professional execution for the construction of minor new buildings and other wooden constructions, as well as improvements, alterations, repairs, maintenance, modernisations, refitting and renovation work within the stated disciplines. The list is not exhaustive. The chosen tenderer will plan and coordinate his work with other disciplines and actors. Furthermore, the tenderer of the carpentry services will be expected to prepare descriptions, make calculations, prepare documents, plans and be the executing contractor for minor new buildings.

Estimert totalverdi: 20 000 000 NOK 💰
Kort beskrivelse:

The total financial limit for this contract is estimated to NOK 20 000 000 excluding VAT for the entire 4-year contract period. This estimate includes hours and materials and other input factors that are deemed necessary to implement or fulfil this contract.

The contract will be valid for one (1) year from the date it is signed.

Annex 1 is a draft of the contract and will regulate the relationship between the parties.

The contracting authority has an option for an extension for 1 + 1 + 1 year.

The contract will automatically expire on the expiry date for the current contract period.

See the performance requirements in article 4 for further details on the assignment.

The scope will depend on the contracting authority's budget situation, activities and other framework factors and it can be changed in the contract period. Note that the estimated scope is without obligations and is to be considered as an informative estimate for the contract period. The contracting authority is not bound to procure a fixed amount of services or materials.

Tenderers must be a legally established company.

The tenderer's tax and VAT payments must be in order. Tax and VAT certificates, not older than 6 months.

Foreign tenderers must provide certificates from equivalent authorities to the Norwegian authorities.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

Tenderers must have sufficient financial strength to fulfil the contract. (A credit rating that concludes with rating A or AN credit worthy will be sufficient for fulfilment).

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

The contracting authority will require that the Tenderer has central certification for:

— carpentry work and assembly of wooden constructions in minimum development class 2 or documentation of equivalent competence and experience;

— engineering design services for construction safety, development class 2 or equivalent;

— engineering design services for building physics, development class 2 or equivalent;

— environmental clearance, development class 1 or equivalent;

— assembly of glass constructions and facade coverings, development class 1 or equivalent;

— assembly of supporting metal or concrete constructions, development class 1 or equivalent.

Tenderers must have experience from minimum three comparable assignments, of which a minimum of one of these assignments must be for a Norwegian public entity.

Skilled workers.
