Holmestrand kommune (Holmestrand Municipality) invites tenderers to participate in a contest for construction of a nursery school and multi-purpose hall at Gullhaug.
A new eight department nursery school is planned to replace the current Gullhaug nursery school and establishment of a new multi-purpose hall that will cover the school's need in relation to exercise, as well as the sport's and other users' need for hall surfaces in the evening and at weekends. The existing daycare will be demolished.
The project also includes work connected with technical infrastructure such as a new fire extinguishing water connection, new establishment of parking places, new access road to the nursery school and multi-purpose hall, and preparation of 17 May space and a number of minor traffic safety measures.
The value of the procurements is estimated to be approx. NOK 100 million excluding VAT. The amount is an estimate and is considered non binding for the municipality. If the amount exceeds the municipality's total budget limit, this must be handled by the municipal council and can result in cancellation. See point 1.3 in the tender documentation.
