This contest is for a procurement of boat yard services for docking and carrying out maintenance, repair and improvement work on the research vessel ‘Dr. Fridtjof Nansen,’ as specified in the tender documentation and Annexes.
The background for this procurement is that ‘Dr. Fridtjof Nansen’ has been taken out of ordinary service in Africa/Asia for the EAF-Nansen Programme, which is a research and assistance cooperation between the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), the Institute of Marine Research in Bergen (HI) and the ‘Food and Agriculture Organization’ in the UN (FAO) and is currently in Norway due to the corona/Covid-19 pandemic.
We would, thus, like to procure boat yard services for docking/slipping and carrying out maintenance, repair and improvement work on the vessel in the period 16 November 2020 to 15 January 2021.
