The background for this procurement is that the government has decided to allocate money to the design and construction of a new coastal research vessel for the Institute of Marine Research.
The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research has received the task of initiating and implementing the procurement of a new coastal research vessel. The procurement is for the design, construction, equipping, testing and delivery of a new coastal research vessel in accordance with the requirements developed in the initial design that are incorporated into the attached contract, cf. Annex 1 Norwegian Standard Ship Building Contract 2000 (adapted), Annex 1.1 Initial design.
