Transport of stem cells from a collection centre abroad to Oslo University Hospital. A product contains fresh, non-frozen viable cells from a neutral donor, that will be transplanted in a patient in Oslo. The product must be transported to Oslo as quickly as possible after the collection. The product must be hand-held from the collection centre to the destination in Oslo by a dedicated courier. The majority of the transports are from Europe and USA, but also some from Australia, Asia (Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan) and Canada. Tenderers must be able to execute the transport from all locations where there is a bone-marrow donor register.

The estimated number of transports per year is 100, plus or minus 20 %.

Varighet: 24 måneder

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

Tenderers must be registered in a company register, professional register or a trade register in the state where the tenderer is established.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling: Sufficient economic and financial capacity to be able to fulfil the contract.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

The tenderer must be a company with long standing experience with hand-held transport of fresh non-frozen, viable human BM,PBSC and DLI cell products for therapeutic use.

Tenderer must have a minimum of 3 years experience delivering equally sensitive (living) products.

Tenderers must have good ability and capacity to be able to fulfil the contract obligations.

Tenderers must have relevant knowledge of exactly this area (with hand-held transport activity of fresh non-frozen viable human BM, PBSC and DLI cell products for therapeutic use) and must be able to perform training of couriers in compliance with the described requirements.

Tenderers must have good knowledge of transport under the necessary temperature conditions.

The personnel must have good oral and written English skills (must be able to be completely understand all documentation and be able to communicate fluently at airports and local transport, with CC, TC and NBMDR either directly or via telephone.

Tenderer must have a quality assurance system that controls that the company always fulfils all relevant guidelines and standards during transport of BM, PBSC and DLI products.
