The Operation of an Ambulance Boat Service in Karlsøy

The Contracting Authority would like tenders for the operation of an ambulance boat service in Karlsøy and stand-by for fire.
The ambulance boat service is a medical service, which is integrated in the acute medical stand-by service. The service must always fulfil the current requirements in the health legislation.
The service must cover a primary area in Karlsøy municipality. Assignments outside this area must also be expected
The ambulance boat is to be stationed at Hansnes. Permanent ports of call and collection locations are; Hansnes, Karlsøy, Reinøy, Vannøy and Rebbenesøy.
The total value of the mentioned service in the contract period is estimated to approx. 7,000 km per annum. Of this, 5 000 km will be for the University Hospital of North Norway, and 2 000 km will be for Karlsøy Municipality. The Framework Agreement will be valid for 6 years calculated from start-up of the service on 1.3.2020. After that the Contracting Authority can extend the contract 4 times, for up to 1 year at a time. The total maximum contract period will be 10 years.
