The Municipality of Oslo wants to establish framework agreements for technology related to supervision within health and care services. This particularly concerns needs related to maintaining the recipient's privacy and undisturbed sleep, as well as preventing and early detecting falls and injuries. By averting and early detecting risk situations, increased quality of life can be achieved, an increased level of care is avoided, and hospitalisations as a result of falls/injuries are avoided.
The Municipality of Oslo has defined 4 desired main functions within supervision:
— A: Function that notifies that the service recipient is going to move, or is moving, in/out of bed,
— B: Function that notifies that the service recipient is going to move, or is moving, in/out of the room/residence,
— C: Function that notifies that the service recipient is falling/lies in a specified area,
— D: Function that allows visual supervision without being physically present.
