The procurement concerns the delivery of different types of technical equipment, and when needed, technical personnel with a high level of competence within one or more of the following areas: audio, lighting, AV and stagecraft.

This procurement will ensure that KK has access to technical equipment and technical personnel at the right quality, price and delivery time during the contract period.

Stjørdal Municipality c/o the Arts Production Unit is the contracting authority and the client for this competition.

About the contracting authority:

Kimen Arts Centre in Stjørdal is Trøndelag's largest of it's type, with over 1 500 visitors daily and 800 small and large events during the year. The Centre contains a library, art gallery, cinemas, cafe, stages facilitated for theatre, dance and concerts, arts school, leisure club and Stjørdal Church. Kimenparken is located outside, with the possibility for large outdoor concerts in connection with the Arts Centre.

The objective of the competition is to write a framework agreement with 1 supplier for all products and services included in this procurement.

The contract is assumed to include the following assignments (not comprehensive):

— technical assistance with various events and projects,

— rigging before and after events,

— be the Centre's technician for productions where there are visiting technicians,

— teaching supervisor for apprentice/trainee places.

The selected supplier will be part of a team together with the employees of Etat kultur [the Agency for the Arts].

KK's stage master/producer will be responsible for the dialogue with tenants/users.

The anticipated value of this procurement is based on previous figures and accounts to approx. 700 000 NOK to 800 000 NOK per year. The contract will have a 2 year duration with an option to extend for 1 year + 1 year, the combined contract length is a maximum 4 years.

One estimates shows the following minimum requirements for 1 operational year:

— stage technician: 20 days,

— audio technician: 50 days,

— lighting technician: 60 days.

The estimate is a guide and is not binding for the contracting authority, as the scope is dependant on Kimen's programme and use during the applicable contract period.

NB: KK has previously order and/or further invoiced equipment that has been necessary or has been ordered for the various productions. KK specifies that during this contract period, equipment needed for a production where there is an external tenant will be invoiced directly to the relevant tenant.
