Fauske municipality plans to build a new technical operations building and blue light building of approx. 4,571 GFA to gather the emergency services, including Salten Brann, Sivilforsvaret\municipal emergency doctor and Nordland Hospital’s ambulance service. Technical services in the municipality will also be placed under 1 roof, including the VVA department (roads, water and sewage), the department of Parks/Sports, Maintenance department, Operations Department and the Cleaning Department. External areas consist of asphalt of approx. 9 855 m

The building will be constructed at Terminalveien east, Krokdalsmyra, located directly east of central Fauske. The area is primarily a business and industry area. Terminalveien has an ADT of approx. 2 800, and adjacent of the area is Fauske Handlespark, groceries, building materials businesses, truck stop and goods terminal.

Fauske municipality will establish municipal infrastructure on a newly regulated area at Terminalveien east in connection with the construction of a technical operations building and blue light building.
