I 2017 Midtre Gauldal Municipality approved a development plan with planning terms and impact assessments for a new business area at Haukdalsmyra in Støren. The background for this development is that Midtre Gauldal Municipality sees a need for a new and larger business area in order to ensure development and growth in the municipality.
Midtre Gauldal Næringsselskap KF will, in accordance with the development plan, construct a new road with new infrastructure from county road 30 up to the future business area at Haukalsmyra. The main route for the road and infrastructure is approx. 4,5 km and it goes along virgin terrain and challenging topography from 75 metres above sea level to 230 metres above sea level. In addition water and sewage installations are to be laid along 2 routes for connection to the existing network.
This project is for engineering design services and development of the road and infrastructure for the new business area, Støren South.
