NORCE was established in 2017, and in 2018 the following research institutes merged into NOCE and became an integrated part of the company; Agderforskning AS, Christian Michelsen Research AS, International Research Institute of Stavanger AS, Uni Research AS and Teknova AS. NORUT AS has been merged in 2019.
NORCE has its main office in Bergen, and offices in Tromsø, Stavanger, Haugesund, Kristiansand, Grimstad and Oslo. The group has approx. 1 100 employees and more than 1 500 projects on the go at any given time.

The objective of the procurement is to enter into a Framework Agreement to expand the business’ existing security platform with new hardware, new functionality and multiple licenses. The current safety platform must be continued, new elements in the security platform must function seamlessly with the current platform.

The current platform is based on Palo Alto Networks hardware and associated software, Palo Alto Global Protect and antivirus software Palo Alto Traps.

The Framework Agreement includes both delivery of equipment and licenses as well as consultancy services in connection with the security platform.

The scope is estimated to be around 3 000 000 NOK in total over 4 years.
