The community centre is one of the most important redevelopment buildings in Steinkjer, with typical period and characteristic architecture. This must be kept as required by the development plan. Facade changes and extensions must be subordinated to the existing building.
The 4 350 m community centre is to be revitalised and extended by approx. 200 m, and it will be used to a completely new extent. The entire building is to be renovated, and new users will use the building together with the existing users.
