Project Manager for Follow Up of Environmental Measures in Svea and Lunckefjell on Svalbard

NFD will enter into a contract for consultancy services in the form of project management related to NFD's follow up of environmental measures in Svea and Lunckefjell. The project manager will have primary responsibility for the follow up of the clean-up project from NFD's side and for reporting about the clean-up project internally in the ministry and also contribute to preparing documentation about the project, to the government and Norwegian Parliament. The assignments will include i.a. follow-up of the project progress and the company's handling of the project along the way according to set goals and limits for the project. The project manager will also be responsible for assisting the ministry on a coordinating committee for the clean-up project, and will be a member of said committee. It is roughly estimated that the clean-up project may have a duration of 4 to 6 years. The assignment is estimated to have a combined annual scope of 40 % — 60 % of a full-time position (1 750 hours). The ministry needs assistance for follow-up of the project for 3 years, with an option to extend.

SNSK is the responsible Builder for the implementation of environmental measures in Svea and Lunckefjell on Svalbard after the cessation of the coal operations in the area. The clean-up project will be financed by NFD. The ministry will enter into a contract for consultancy services in the form of Project Management related to NFD's follow-up of environmental measures in Svea and Lunckefjell. The Project Manager will have primary responsibility for the follow up of the clean-up project from NFD's side and for reporting about the clean-up project internally in the ministry and also contribute to preparing documentation about the project, to the government and Norwegian Parliament. The assignments will include i.a. follow-up of the project progress and the company's handling of the project along the way according to set goals and limits for the project. A large degree of shift work must be expected.
