The contract must cover the Norwegian Institute of Public Health's requirement for Thermo Scientific Matrix tubes with 2D barcode in a tray, SepraSeal caps and empty trays.
The Biobanks Department handles several large cohort examinations, and has used the type of tube included in this procurement since 2003. In these types of examinations, it is important that material collected over time can be compared, and all contact between plastic and the sample material can potentially lead to the transfer of plastic matter.
