The call for tenders includes the delivery of a new foam tank lorry for Vefsn Fire and Rescue service. The vehicle shall primarily be used as a foam tank lorry and must also be the response vehicle No 2 in relation to larger incidents or if the first-response vehicle is out of operation. The Contracting Authority will therefore in particular emphasise the tenderer's proposed solution for cabinets/furnishings as spacious cabinets and easy access to the emergency preparedness material are particularly emphasised.
The vehicle with an adapted body, including equipment and furnishing is further described in the requirement specification — Annex A.
