The objective of the tender contest is to enter into a Framework Agreement for goods and services related to maintenance and adjustment of internal (LAN/WLAN) and external (WAN) network infrastructure for the company.
The Framework Agreement for network infrastructure includes all network equipment for internal and external network.
— switches, routers, network equipment and network cables,
— access points and controllers,
— software for operation and maintenance of the network infrastructure,
— other equipment that has a close connection with the establishment, operation or maintenance of a network,
— consultancy services for advisory and implementation.
The current infrastructure includes eight large offices situated in i.a. Grimstad, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Tromsø as well as ten small locations.
Uninett shall provide Research network (transport network) for most of the locations. Each location has a homogeneous network infrastructure that must be maintained and possible adjusted in connection with reconstructions and alterations. All new units must work seamlessly with the current infrastructure at each location.
