The Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV), c/o NAV IT, shall implement a tender competition with negotiations. The objective of the competition is to enter into a contract with one supplier of network equipment, service, software and accompanying services for NAV's network solution (the WAN).
The objective of the contract is to ensure future development of the network solution and enable establishment of new services for data communication. The agreement must give flexibility in connection to changes of costs resulting from changes in user patterns and service scope.

The contract includes the delivery of network equipment and service to the customer's central computer centres and to approx. 650 offices in Norway. In addition, there will be services, software and equipment deliveries and any other conditions that are necessary for supporting the contract's purpose. Cf. point 1.1.
