The contracting authority requests tenders for the delivery of microscopes for the Department for Clinical Pathology, Vestre Viken Health Trust. The microscopes shall be used daily in connection with diagnostics of histological and cytological preparation. Since the microscopes shall be used for several hours every day, it is important that the microscopes have high optic quality, good ergonomical design and that they are easy to use.
A framework agreement will be signed. The number of call-offs will vary during the agreement period. The contracting authority expects to procure 6 pathology microscopes in 2020, followed by the delivery of approx. 5 additional microscopes during the 4-year agreement period. The total number amounts to the delivery of approx. 30 microscopes.
This competition is being held by the Norwegian Hospital Procurement Trust on behalf of Vestre Viken Health Trust.
