The procurement will cover the police's need for continual media monitoring services, with an option for the procurement of qualitative and quantitative media analysis.
The police are mentioned in approx. 23 000 media articles a month, and require a service that can monitor, systemise and present these articles in order to ensure good management and steering information. This is particularly relevant for major events and crises.
The media monitoring service must also cover a media portal, archive, full implementation, training, free user support and any rightful owner fees.
Users of the media monitoring service will be all those in the police. At the end of April 2019, this was approx. 17 000 man-labour years. Communication employees will mostly use the functionalities in the system in order to follow the news and provide management support. Other employees will mainly have an offer for reader access.
