The contest is for a contract for the delivery of laundry services — laundry and hire of workwear and linen, etc., for Steinkjer, Levanger, Verdal and Inderøy Municipalities.
Verran Municipality will have an option to join the contract that will be valid until 1.1.2021.
The contract will ensure that the Contracting Authority has a good and secure delivery of such products and services in the contract period.
The assignment includes:
— the hire and laundry of institutional textiles, including repairs and bringing/collecting the textiles,
— hire and laundry of personnel clothing, including repairs and bringing/collection the textiles,
— laundry of personnel clothing (owned by the Contracting Authority), including repairs and bringing/collecting the textiles.
The delivery must be of first class quality. The Contracting Authority washes residents' clothing itself.
Orders will mainly come from entities within health and welfare, including nursing homes. All other municipal entities with a need for laundry services must have the same terms.
The products mentioned in the price sheet are those that are used the most. The Contracting Authority also reserves the right to procure other equivalent products on the same terms if expedient.
The value of the procurement is estimated to be: Approx. 1 100 000 NOK excluding VAT per year. The volume is an estimate and, thus, not binding. See Part 2, requirement specifications, for further information.
Lots and alternative tenders:
Tenders cannot be submitted for parts of the assignment, and alternative tenders are not allowed.
The Contracting Authority has considered splitting the contract in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations §19-4, but has decided that this is not suitable.
