A new 6 department nursery, Garvik Nursery, is planned to be constructed in Mo in Nord-Odal.
Garvik Nursery will be a 6 department nursery over 2 floors. Each floor will have approx. 950 m. Level 1 will preferably be for 3 departments for the youngest children, and level 2 will be for 3 departments for the older children. The building will have a curved design, and the children's departments will face the south east. The communal areas and administrative areas will face north west.
The ground conditions mean that the foundations will be on rock. The main supporting system will consist of steel with hollow floor dividers. The roof construction will be a lean-to roof. The roof will be at its lowest in the arch. It will be insulated here on the hollow floor dividers — warm roof. There will be a technical room in each gable end. Outdoor installations are being developed, as preparation for play apparatuses. The outdoor installations consist of green areas, asphalted roads, gravel roads and areas, the establishment of outside sheds, a sledging hill at the edge of the forest towards the south east - to be built up from on-site matter.

A new 6 department Garvik Nursery is planned to be constructed in Mo in Nord-Odal, just north of Garvik Primary School, Nord-Odal Secondary School and the Sports Hall in Mo.
The site was a previous sports arena, which was later developed into a sports hall with a car park. Nord-Odal Municipality will share this area for the establishment of a new nursery in Mo.
The ground conditions mean that the foundations will be on rock. The rock depth varies, it is deepest towards the west, down to 8 m at the deepest. Towards the west there will be steel piles on rock, and towards the east falsework pipes/Spiro can be used.

The main supporting system will consist of steel with hollow floor dividers. The roof construction will be designed as a lean-to roof. A prefabricated lean-to roof will be laid on hollow floor dividers (cover over level 2) and the roof will be at its lowest in the arch. It will be insulated here on the hollow floor dividers — i.e., a warm roof.
