Furusjøen Waterworks — Contract E 3-3 Inlet Pipe

Nord-Fron kommune

Nord-Fron municipality shall construct a new water supply facility at Kvamsfjellet, north of Rondane National Park. New water and sewage pipes, a new elevated basin and a new water treatment facility shall be constructed with the Furusjøen sea as a source of water.
Raw water from the Furusjøen sea shall be collected at 14 metres depth and pumped in to the water treatment plant (Norwegian vba) via an inlet pump station located near the shoreline.
The works in this contract include an inlet pipe in the Furusjøen sea for Furusjøen waterworks facility, including trench works and inlet basin, etc.
The contractor must co-ordinate the progress and interface to the other contracts included in the water treatment facility.
Contract regulations in accordance with NS 8406 including amendments/additions as stated in the tender documentation chapter B.
The contract is expected to be initiated by the beginning of July 2019. The contract shall be executed in such a manner that all onshore excavation works that affect the Furusjøen sea must be completed by 15.9.2019. The contract must be completed by 15.11.2019

The contract (contract E 3-3) shall primarily include the following
— inlet pipe, d= 250 mm PE, length approx. 860 m with pipe ends, etc.,
— the delivery and assembly of fibreglass armour unsaturated polyester, possible PE and a superstructure,
— excavation works, possible blasting, etc., for trenches at the land site and inlet basin,
— jack leg d= 280 mm SDR 11 with discharge in shallow water.
