Strand kommune

Strand Municipality, together with Gjesdal Municipality and Hå Municipality, would like to enter into a 2 year Framework Agreement, with an option for 1 + 1 year, for the procurement and delivery of playground equipment. Assembly of the equipment is included as an option in the contract.

The contract has an estimated annual value of approx. 1 000 000 NOK excluding VAT. This gives a total contract value for the entire possible contract period (including options) of 4 000 000 NOK excluding VAT. The estimated contract value is only of an informative character and it is not binding for the Contracting Authority. The estimated contract value covers all procurements under the contract, including spare parts. The volume may differ from that mentioned as a result of changes in, amongst other things, financial framework conditions, changing needs, the market situation and political decisions.

A list of the municipalities' playgrounds, nurseries and schools is attached, cf. Annex 3. The municipalities reserve the right to hold separate competitions for each project for playground equipment for municipal playgrounds that is for more than 100 000 NOK excluding VAT.

The municipalities have different needs for playground equipment procurements. Annex 2 — Price and Product Sheet for Playground Equipment, shows the estimated/expected need from the municipalities per annum.
If a tenderer cannot deliver products in addition to those in Annex 2 — Price and product sheet for playground equipment, the municipalities will be free to procure products from other suppliers.
Strand municipality’s needs will mainly involve upgrades to municipal playgrounds in residential areas. Most are sand playgrounds, but there are also some local playgrounds. Some playgrounds need a complete upgrade, others need supplementary playground equipment. Strand Municipality will assemble the playground equipment and construct the sandpits.

Gjesdal Municipality has approx. 20 playgrounds, mostly at schools and nurseries. Our needs are for both supplements and, to a certain degree, upgrades.
Hå Municipality mainly needs upgrades to municipal playgrounds. Most are sand playgrounds, but there are also some local playgrounds. Some playgrounds need a complete upgrade, others need supplementary playground equipment.
Hå Municipality will assembly the playground equipment itself. Hå Municipality stores and certifies swings and sandpits itself. In addition, the municipality orders some playground apparatuses (e.g., play huts and buses) from a youth workshop in Hå Municipality. Hå Municipality will not order seats through the contract.

Some of the equipment could need assembling. Hourly rates for assembly will, therefore, be included as an option.
