Framework Agreement for the Hire of Machines, Equipment and Contractor Services

Arendal kommune

Arendal Municipality needs to enter into a framework agreement for the hire of machinery, equipment and contractor services. The duration of the framework agreement is 2 years with an option to extend for 1 year + 1 year.
Arendal Municipality intends to enter into a framework agreement with up to 4 tenderers for each lot stated in point 1.2. The tenderers will mainly supplement and possibly assist municipal work teams when they have insufficient capacity. It is therefore important that the offered services/materials are suitable for the municipal assignments, both in terms of competence, materials and the ability to deliver as required.
The contract includes, amongst other things:
— execution of road, water and sewage work in cooperation with Arendal Municipality's own site team,
— hire of machinery and drivers who will be a part of the municipality's work team,
— hire of machinery without drivers,
— execution of drilling and blasting work.
