Strand kommune

Strand municipality shall enter into a 2 year Framework Agreement with option for 1+1 year extension for the delivery of groceries for the majority of the municipality's activities. E.g. nurseries, home economics kitchens, units for health and welfare, administration, etc.

The Framework Agreement includes deliveries to the following units (the list is not limited nor does it represent any obligations for the Contracting Authority):
— 4 nurseries: delivery once a week,
— 6 schools: delivery once a week,
— 8 units for health and care services: deliveries 1-2 times a week,
— 23 smaller businesses; occasional deliveries.
The value of the contract may differ from year to year, but the value in the recent 4 years has been approx. 3 500 000 NOK per annum.
The total contract value including options is estimated to 14 000 000 NOK.
The estimated values are mainly based on historical figures from the 4 last years. The amounts do not carry any obligations for the Contracting Authority or rights for the tenderer. Subject to changes in volume as a result of changed financial framework conditions and municipal activity.

Most of the groceries must be delivered directly to the different units, but the municipality also wants a possibility to purchase groceries from shops at Jørpeland and Tau. Supplementing purchases must also be an option to the contract. The municipality would primarily like to enter into a contract with one supplier. However, if the winner of the tender competition is not able to comply with the requirements for local procurements, the municipality will choose to enter into a contract with two or three suppliers.
