The value of the procurement is anticipated to be approx. 2 500 000 NOK excluding VAT. The value is an estimate and is non-binding. The offered excavator can be new or a second hand excavator that has had very little use. See the procurement documents for further details.

Tenders cannot be submitted for parts of the assignment, and alternative tenders are not allowed. The Contracting Authority has considered dividing up the assignment in accordance with PPR §19-4, but has decided that this is not suitable for this type of contract.

Justification for cancellation: The contracting authority has carried out the tender opening for this competition. There were two (2) tenders to the tender competition. GLØR is not comfortable with continuing the procurement process with the received tenders. The justification is that the offered machines were considered too small for the job that must be executed at the plant. The offered machines will to a small degree cover the contracting authority’s requirement and will not make us able to continue using our existing equipment. It is also found that offered prices exceeded the budgeted prices and that none of the machines offered are based on alternative fuel.
