Oslo University Hospital (OUS) currently has an old, self-developed system, OUS-SOC, which is used at Rikshospitalet and Ullevål Hospital. The system has status end of life/end of service, and must be replaced. A new system must support both existing and coming functional needs for orders, use, and reprocessing equipment in a good way. The system must facilitate efficiency, automation and documentation of processes that are currently manual and time consuming, as well as increase the quality of the services that the Sterile Department offers to the surgical departments, and other patient treatment in OUS.
