The information office for fruit and vegetables (henceforth referred to as ‘OFG’) is a private foundation that works to increase the consumption of fresh fruits, berries, vegetables and potatoes in Norway. The Norwegian Directorate of Health has given OFG the task of administering the School Fruit Scheme, cf. the regulations dated 1.4.2004 No 623 for grants for price markdowns of fruits and vegetables in primary and secondary schools. OFG would like to enter into framework agreements with tenderers for deliveries of fruit/vegetables (school fruit) under the school fruit scheme. All primary and secondary school (schools with classes within 1-10 years) in Norway can make call-offs on the framework agreements that OFG sign. This includes both public and private schools. All Norwegian municipalities can also make call-offs. The valid period will be 1.7.2020-30.6.2022. See the tender documentation for more information.

Foreign companies: confirmation that the tenderer is registered in a trade register or company register in the country where the tenderer is established.

Tenderers must have sufficient experience and resources to carry out the assignment. Tenderers must have experience from similar contracts.

Reference assignments that are older than 3 years will be permitted as there are few actors in the market. This must describe how the products are handled and stored in accordance with its quality assurance system until they are delivered to recipients (schools), as well as quality assurance systems for handling sliced fruit.
