Contract 1101 — Common Rigging and Operation

Helse Sør-Øst RH [the South Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority] extends an invitation to submit tenders for common rigging and operation works for the New Hospital in Drammen.
Contract 1101 Hospital consists of a building complex with a total of approx. 122 000 m. The site is 50 acres [200 mål], and is located in the existing industrial area at Brakerøya as far as Drammenselva and near the railway station. The construction works will be implemented with shared builder managed contracts. The demolition works have begun and sheet piling and excavation works will begin in autumn 2019. Contract 1101 begins work in January 2020. The hospital must be ready for commissioning during 2024.

Contract 1101 Hospital consists of a building complex with a total of approx. 122 000 m

The main activities in the contract are as follows:

— operation of site roads/spaces/asphalting/maintenance of fences,

— reconstruction of the builder's barracks,

— establishment of contractor barracks,

— establishment of building lifts,

— establishment of staircase tower,

— establishment of internal transport tower,

— cleaning of all barracks,

— security guards at the main approach gate, east and later west,

— construction site security guards,

— camera monitoring,

— establishment/operation of waste stations,

— RTB follow-up in yellow and red zones,

— establish provision power to the building/construction site,

— water/sewage for barracks/rigs.

The following main quantities are currently estimated:

— establishment of security fence approx.: 400 m,

— raising when refilling: 1 000 m,

— asphalting of site roads approx.: 11 700 m

— marking of roads approx.: 5 000 m,

— cleaning of barracks rigs approx.: 33 000 m

— snow clearing of roads/spaces approx.: 33 000 m

— sweeping of roads approx.: 33 000 m

— gritting of roads and spaces approx.: 33 000 m

— access control system for approx.: 900 persons.

The area has currently 2 access roads. Access from the west has a limited height under the railway and can only be used for passenger vehicle traffic and possibly small goods vans. Access from the east must be used as the access for all construction traffic.

Contract 2101, Riving og miljøsanering [Demolition and environmental restoration] has responsibility as the main company until 1.2.2020 and then will be taken over by the builder.
