Trondheim Municipality has prepared a general plan for the design of Granåsen sports arena. An area plan and a development plan, r20170032, have been approved for the area. There are a number of sequential measures including road and water and sewage measures. Granåsen sports arena will be developed in phases. The development must be adapted to various major events, both summer and winter. We would now like to have detailed engineering design services carried out for the roads, water and sewage for the development.

A preliminary project has been carried out for the municipal engineering infrastructure, (including county roads), connected to Granåsen sports arena. The development is split into different phases for this. Phase A is being executed in a turnkey contract and comprises a ski bridge over Smistadvegen, approx. 180 m of Smistadvegen, the associated water and sewage installations and facilitating country areas for use in events.

This procurement involves:

— detailed engineering design services for other construction phases (called B, C and D in the preliminary project) for roads, water and sewage, as well as some open spaces/side areas,

— review of appropriate construction phases and required supplements/updates to prerequisites in the preliminary project,

— complete tender description for the various construction phases (partial option),

— follow-up in the construction phase (partial option),

— option for revising the detailed plans if the prerequisites are changed.

There are challenging ground conditions (bog) on several of the road stretches.

The engineering design services must fulfil the current government and municipal regulations, rules, standards and decisions. The consultant must have a general grasp of the engineering design services and interact with other sub-projects for the development of Granåsen sports arena.
