The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency

The supply system for F-35 fighter aircrafts comprises a supply building with related external systems. The first construction stage was completed in 2017 and the plant is in full operation supplying the F-35 fighter aircrafts. The Supply building's stage 2 contract includes an addition to the first construction stage and it shall gather large parts of the supplies activity at Ørland Air Station in one building.

The Supply building's stage 2 contract includes an addition to the first construction stage and it shall gather large parts of the supplies activity at Ørland Air Station in one building.

The project includes the construction of an administration wing with multiple persons offices, cell offices, meeting rooms, lunch/dining rooms and accompanying secondary rooms that must be constructed for the extension of the current administration wing that was established in construction stage 1. The technical main storage and the supply storage shall be established in a large hall that is separated from the remaining areas in construction stage 2. It shall contain a concrete wall for maintaining support of the truss work structures and compliance with the fire safety requirements. The hall shall include storage automation system(s) and mobile pallet shelves.

The contract will mainly consist of:
— detailed engineering design services,
— ground works, foundations, etc.
Building, gross area approx. 3 500 m
— technical disciplines with user interface to the Norwegian Defence Building Agency's Framework Agreements on supervisory operational control systems, Fire and PA systems and electronic protection,
— connections to infrastructure,
— outdoor works, approx. 7 000 m
