FjellVAR AS is the leading food industry and environmental company in Øygarden kommune [Øygarden municipality]. We are 40 employees providing drinking water of high quality, and we take care of the sewage water and purify this. We also take care of emptying private sludge interceptors, and the collection of waste and reuse of this.
ØyVAR AS is also involved in the expansion of the new VAR system in the municipality. The activity will be financed through the VAR-fee according to the self-cost principle.
The procurement concerns the purchase of sludge services.

Bergen Vann KF will enter into a framework agreement (without a mini competition) for the purchase of sludge services. The work will be carried out according at regular emptying intervals, but there will also be additional orders that must be performed with 6 or 24 hours (work outside of normal working hours can be necessary).

The service will be provided at the following location:
Os- og Fusa municipality (Bjørnafjorden municipality from 1.1.2020). The contracting authority is Bergen Vann KF.
Fjell-, Sund- and Øygarden municipality (Øygarden municipality from 1.1.2020). The contracting authority is ØyVAR AS (to be established 1.1.2020).
The work consists of:
— collection, transport and treatment of septic sludge and filtered goods,
— emptying of sludge interceptors and sealed tanks,
— emptying of large private and municipal sludge interceptors,
— collection, transport and treatment of sieved matter from treatment plants.
A dewatering vehicle with be needed for some of the assignments in order to avoid unnecessary driving.
