Bergen Vann KF would like to have a contract with a tenderer for the delivery of calcium carbonate for Svartediket water treatment facility (Stemmeveien 41, 5009 Bergen).
Type: bulk. Fraction: 1–3 mm/1–2,5 mm. Expected annual procurement: 600 tonnes.
The product is to be transported in bulk from the works to the delivery place and blown into the silo for calcium carbonate in the existing open air facility. It is the tenderer's responsibility to ensure that surfaces that have been in contact with filter matter before they reach the delivery place are sufficiently cleaned before the filter matter is loaded. The type of cleaning will depend on what has been transported in the same vehicle/boat previously. Transport in bulk with any reloading/unloading must not inflict unnecessary mechanical load on the filter matter (transport/reloading is described in the tender). It is extremely important that the content of the fine matter is as low as possible.

The filter matter is to be blown into 2 silos that are in an open air facility. There is a 4" Laux male connector on each sparger. Water must not be added when filter matter is blown into the silo. The tenderer will be responsible for filling the silo with filter matter. Bergen Vann KF will be responsible for the filling from silo to filter.

Type: large sacks (inner sack: plastic). Weight: 500–1 500 kg. Maximum construction height of the sack: 162 cm.
Fraction: 1–3 mm/1–2,5 mm. Expected annual procurement: 250 tonnes.
The product is to be transported in large sacks from the works to the delivery place. Each sack must be marked with its content.
The sacks must not be damaged or polluted upon delivery (measures are described in the tender).
Transport and any reloading must not inflict unnecessary mechanical strain on the sacks (transport/reloading is described in the tender). The sacks must be unloaded on to the asphalted area outside the facility. There is good space to turn around. The tenderer carry out the unloading himself. There are no trucks at the facility.

Bildøyvatnet:
Fraction: 1–3 mm/1–2,5 mm. Expected annual procurement: 60 tonnes.
There is a municipal road from the national road to the water treatment facility [restrictions: vehicle length (12,4 m) and axel load (Bk8)].
If needed, the tenderer can reload or park a trailer at FjellVAR's administration building in Lonavegen 20, Straume. A truck is available for reloading. The sacks must be unloaded on to the asphalted area outside the facility. There is good space to turn around. The tenderer carry out the unloading himself. A truck is available at the unloading site.
