NORUT Northern Research Institute AS merged with NORCE in April 2019. Uni Research Polytec AS is expected to merge with NORCE in November 2019.
NORCE has their main office in Bergen, and activities in Tromsø, Stavanger, Haugesund, Kristiansand, Grimstad and Oslo. The group has approx. 1,000 employees and more than 1,500 ongoing projects at any given time.

NORCE needs to enter into a framework agreement for auditing services.
NORCE has owner interest in numerous companies. The following Norwegian majority owned limited branches and daughter companies must be included in the tender contest:
— NORCE Innovation AS, Hole in One Producer AS,
— Gender Guide AS,
— Traction Tool AS,
— Biosentrum AS,
— Risavika Bio-Manufacturing AS,
— Tecom AS,
— Indikel AS,
— Offshore Sensing AS,
— Prototech AS,
— Clean Power AS,
— Gexcon AS,
— Gexcon Certification AS,
— Nasjonalt utviklingssenter for barn og unge AS,
— Nordisk Institutt for Odontologiske Materialer AS,
— Nasjonalt kunnskapssenter om vold og traumatisk stress AS,
— Barents Biocentre AS, and
— IRIS Software AS.
The objective of the call for tenders is to enter into a framework agreement for companies included in the NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS, including the above specified branches and daughter companies' total requirements for statutory financial audit in accordance with the Auditor Act's §2-1. The NORCE group accounts must also be audited. The audit must comply with all requirements given in the Norwegian laws, regulations and good audit practise. The auditing services must apply from and including the fiscal year 2019. The contract period is three (3) years with a planned commencement on 15.11.2019. Option for one (1) year extension.
